i got a new book the other day! it's about these three hungarians who hopped on a motorcycle and traveled around the globe 'tween the two world wars. so far the cities they're hitting are going by too fast (i've read enough motorcycle-around-the-world books to know exactly how fast i want the authors to drive), but that gives me some small hope that they'll actually describe every country they hit (typically these things focus hardcore on africa, india, and south america, and then forget much of what lies elsewhere along the route). also, i'm not sure if it's the translator's fault, or the original author's fault, but there are a lot of repetitious words thrown around...
